A spectacular gala featured a formal dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, the dazzling quick-change artists David and Dania Sudarchikov of Circus Sarasota, and dancing to the sounds of the Don Juceam Orchestra and the songs of Sinatra. |

The NARSAD Florida Junior Committee hosted its first-ever fund/friendraiser, “Don’t Worry Be Happy” — a Jamaican-themed beach bash at the Longboat Key Club and Resort. |

NARSAD Florida honored actor Joe Pantoliano and David Shern, president of Mental Health America, with the Luminary Award for their contributions to our goal of supporting brain research and reducing the stigma attached to mental illness and brain disorders. |
